Pinned Scenes in Screenplays

  • You can now pin scenes within your scripts to remember where you left off.
  • Pinned scenes stay saved across all screenplay files.
  • We've added more spacing between scenes in the scene navigator for better readability.

PDF Export for Text Files

  • You can now PDF export your text files in Scriptor via the file dropdown.
  • Note: Alert blocks and colours are not currently supported but will be added gradually to support all styles features.

Templates

  • The Character Map and Film Treatment templates have been updated within the text editor templates gallery.

File Sharing

  • Introduced sharing capabilities for screenplay and text files
  • Added ability to revoke access and monitor view counts for shared files
  • Added a new sharing filter to the quick search modal to track shared files
  • Currently, shared files are view-only whilst we develop full collaboration capabilities. This feature marks the beginning of our collaboration roadmap across all Scriptor features. Private sharing via email addresses will be available shortly
